We are truly happy to be apart of Yong-In Taigon Taekwondo. Master Kim and Master Santiago are expertise in their field. They are knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated. They truly love what they do and genuinely care for all of their students and families.
Our child started at Yong In Taigon Taekwondo in October of last year. Although it has only been a little more than four months, we can see the confidence, positivity, work ethic, and love that Master Kim often preached throughout our child’s practice sessions. The leadership team there is awesome and great role models– they are very effective in communicating with the younger ones. The older students are caring and they do a great job teaching the younger ones. Overall, the entire team is great.
The environment here is positive and family oriented, it is a refreshing atmosphere that is based on great values. This is a great place for anyone, and especially the little ones, to build a solid foundation physically, and mentally.
We are happy with what we have seen in our child’s qualities – they are beginning to reflect Master Kim and Master Santiago’s teachings.

Master Kim is an amazing asset to this community in Lake Stevens. This Dojang has taught my son Discipline and respect,this has carried over into his school work as well. After 3 weeks at Yong In Taigon, we LOVE this place. It is everything I’d heard and more. Master Kim, Master Kim, Master Kim (yes there are 3) and Master Santiago are absolutely everything we could ask for. Aiden really likes it. I’ve never seen him try so hard at anything that wasn’t technology. He is inspired by his instructors, he told me. One particular Master Kim, who works with the kids on their Korean terminology, is his favorite. Aiden says he really inspires him to do his best, so thank you Master Kim.
I can see that all the instructors love their work. They are having just as much fun as the kids. They are always smiling, always positive, always happy to see the kids.
It doesn’t hurt that Master Santiago is a faithful Christian, either. I love that. I love reading her blogs.
I can see us being happy here for a very long time.

Both of our children attend Yong In Taigon Taekwondo. I have watched as my son, who just earned his 1st degree black belt, learn and grow into a very disciplined and amazing young man.
