Alex was born a leader. His self determination and passion for taekwondo helps him to come up with teaching techniques that help students' improvement. His charismatic leadership style and passion to make a difference in our school doesn't go unnoticed. The example that you set speaks louder than words can say. Mr. Charlie Gundersen is the kind of person who puts 100% into whatever he is doing. He tells us that the physical empowerment he feels after an intense class is very rewarding, and it's not just about getting a good workout. He feels he is learning new skills while participating in something he enjoys, and gaining a true awareness of his physical and mental strength through our Leadership program.
He has entered several tournaments winning 1st place gold medals in forms and weapons in every tournament he has entered. Charlie loves to incorporate break dancing moves to his nun-chaku forms. Ms. Lauren American Horse
Lauren has been an asset to our school. She is an example of thinking big for her life. She carries full work loads, caring for her family, and always looking for ways to improve herself not only in taekwondo but her personal life. Lauren has her unique ways to figure things, to work as a team, and made our students' vision a reality. She undertakes her leadership duties with passion creating an opportunity to our students to take their goal commitment more serious. She doesn't only try to teach our students to become successful with a specific technique - but she goes the extra mile to make sure that as they learn they become people of valuable experience. She is the kind of person who accepts total responsibility for her actions because it's the right thing to do. Despite her shyness when she first started (and still a little bit now) Lauren is making sure to make a difference in our school and the world.
